Summary:

In this episode I talk about a recent experience I had.  I was weighing up either having a nap and or going for a bike ride.  I felt tired. But I wanted to test out my new route to work on my bike.  It was 7km's, so I set off and did it and ended up doing 35 km's (21 miles) on my bike.  I talk about how sometimes we need to just get started, then momentum keeps us going.

Summary:

In this episode I talk to one of my listeners Florence.  She tells her story of how she went from collapsing and calling the emergency services, to how she began to rebuild her life, regain her confidence, and put practices in place to recover.  Hearing this story from a listeners perspective will resonate with many of you, as Florence says "you are not alone", and in this very honest story, you'll also see there is a lot of hope for your future.

Florence also shares her morning routine, which helps her every day.

Summary:

In this episode I talk about how we all need to stop trying so hard.  We often are very hard on ourselves and that amount of pressure often just makes the anxiety worse.  I discuss how you can begin to feel better and what steps you can take to be gentler on yourself.  I also discuss how this can affect people trying to get into relationships, and those in relationships trying to maintain them.

Summary:

In this episode I discuss a recent experience I had with a plumbing issue I encountered, and how it made me practice patience.  It also made me reflect on how we create satisfaction in our lives.  And of course I draw a beautiful analogy between fixing my plumbing and overcoming anxiety. I get into talking about a recent article I read from Mr Money Moustache and how  we can make satisfying things last longer.  Here is the article I reference  http://www.mrmoneymustache.com/2018/04/10/hacking-hedonic-adaptation/

Summary:

In this episode I discuss how we're in the process of moving house.  I talk about how we've gone from living in a smaller space and being very minimalist, to deciding to move into a bigger home.  I talk about what the motivation was to do it, why I had some sleepless nights and lots of other exciting news.
